What Out-of-Network Coverage Means for You

Despite being out of network, 1460 Dental Studio can still treat patients who have Delta Dental insurance

At 1460 Dental Studio, we are out-of-network with Delta Dental insurance. This enables us to receive a slightly higher reimbursement rate from this provider, so that we may continue to serve all our Delta Dental patients without having to compromise on any aspect of their treatment.

If you are a Delta Dental patient, you can still expect the same high quality, compassionate care from us, but the payment process may look a little different. While we will still file your claims on your behalf, out of network patients can expect the following:

  • Although most Delta Dental plans will send a payment check to us directly, some may send them to the patient instead. Depending on your individual policy, if payment is sent to you, you will be required to pay 1460 Dental Studio at the time of services.
  • You are responsible for your co-payment and deductible at the time your services are rendered.
  • Preventive care is generally covered at between 75 to 100%, but this will depend on your individual plan.
  • Basic care, such as fillings or simple extractions may be covered at 50 to 80% depending on your individual plan.
  • Major services, such as crowns, dentures, bridges, and surgical extractions may be covered at 30 to 50% depending on your individual plan.
